You will serve as a key liaison between Service Plus Operations, MQ Procurement, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to improve material readiness, reduce supply risk, enhance operational efficiency, and support exceptional customer service.

What You'll Be Responsible For

  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to improve pricing, lead times, responsiveness, service levels, and material availability.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and monitor market conditions, material availability, and demand trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and risk mitigation.
  • Identify alternate suppliers, substitute materials, and expedited sourcing solutions to address supply chain disruptions.
  • Partner closely with MQ Procurement to ensure alignment with procurement policies, vendor onboarding, purchase order execution, and broader supply chain objectives.
Materials Management & Inventory Control
  • Ensure material availability by overseeing inventory management, warehouse operations, and distribution activities that support service and manufacturing operations.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and transaction compliance through SAP and other business systems.
  • Analyze demand patterns, inventory consumption, supplier lead times, and stocking levels to improve material readiness and working capital utilization.
  • Champion inventory accuracy initiatives and continuous improvement efforts that optimize warehouse performance and storage utilization.
  • Maintain accurate records supporting procurement activities, inventory transactions, repair status updates, and customer inquiries.
Operational Support & Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Service Managers, Service Writers, technicians, and operations teams to support material issuance, returns, warranty administration, and core recovery programs.
  • Communicate material availability, shortages, and estimated delivery dates to operational stakeholders.
  • Provide materials and sourcing support for other Service Plus locations as business needs require.
  • Support technician productivity and customer satisfaction through proactive material planning and coordination.
What We're Looking For

  • Ability to analyze inventory data, supplier performance, and operational metrics to drive informed decisions.
Leadership & Communication
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong relationship‑building skills with vendors, customers, technicians, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Customer‑focused mindset with a positive and collaborative approach.
  • Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus but not required.
