Job summary

Relativity Space is seeking a Materials & Processes engineer to own reusable Terran-R products, materials, and engineering standards. You will qualify materials for flight and reuse, develop technical specs, and drive experiments that improve processes.

Collaborate across design, manufacturing, QA, and leadership to enable cost-effective reuse and reliable performance. The role emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration, accountability, and rapid execution in a fast-paced aerospace

Qualifications

• Experience with general M&P activities such as material selection, qualification and damage tolerance

Responsibilities

• Be the M&P owner of reusable Terran-R products, engineering disciplines, and materials
• Qualify materials and products for flight and reuse
• Develop, implement, and maintain technical specifications and engineering standards
• Drive statistically-driven experimental design and process improvement campaigns
• Interface with materials engineering staff, laboratory, design, manufacturing, QA, and leadership to enable reuse and reduce cost
