Job summary

Allan Myers, Inc. is seeking candidates for hands-on learning opportunities within our asphalt production teams.

This program provides on-the-job training led by experienced professionals and exposure to large heavy civil projects, with typical assignments lasting 3-6 months. Participants will assist with daily plant operations, monitor schedules, support quality control, and help with production reporting and logistics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Must be a team player with strong communication skills.
• Demonstrates analytical thinking and willingness to learn and adapt.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily asphalt plant operations and production activities.
• Monitor production schedules and plant performance.
• Support quality control testing and material sampling procedures.
• Track inventories of aggregates and liquids used in production.
• Assist with production reporting, data collection, and operational analysis.
• Coordinate deliveries and logistics for materials and products.
• Observe plant maintenance and equipment inspections.
• Review production records, safety procedures, and environmental compliance.
