Job summary

Dynacraft, a PACCAR division in McKinney, TX, seeks a Materials Manager - Planning & Procurement to lead the Materials Planning team across multiple supply chains in support of manufacturing and distribution operations.

The ideal candidate will drive supplier performance, improve material availability, support inventory management, and ensure planning aligns with delivery reliability, profitability, and customer satisfaction; proactive, data-driven leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in supervising and developing staff.
• Minimum three years of supervisory experience.
• Strong supply chain and material planning experience with a record of success.
• Knowledge/experience with SAP MRP preferred.
• Eight+ years of supplier management experience.
• Decision-making based on data and facts.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
• Excellent negotiation and communication with suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Lead Materials Planning staff to support delivery reliability and profitability.
• Set performance standards and goals for the team.
• Train staff on SAP processes to improve accuracy and productivity.
• Collaborate with Production, Customer Service, Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, and suppliers to resolve material availability issues.
• Lead supplier improvement projects to boost delivery reliability and supply chain performance.
• Develop and implement continuous improvement projects to cut costs and improve efficiency.
• Use data-driven analysis to address planning challenges and optimize inventory.
• Manage multiple projects and align with business objectives and timelines.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to resolve issues.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as needed.
