C.H. Guenther & Son, Inc. seeks a Materials Planning leader to oversee the supply plan for 20+ manufacturing locations and co-packers, coordinating with Operations, Purchasing, Logistics, and suppliers.

You will drive inventory reduction, supplier performance, and cost savings while guiding a talented planning team. The role requires a bachelor in a related field, 3+ years in supply planning, and 2+ years in people management, with strong SAP/APO and Excel skills.

Formación

• Bachelor degree required: preferably in supply chain, economics, finance, agri-business.
• 3+ years of supply planning, material planning, or sales forecasting.
• 2+ years of people management experience.
• Experience with SAP/APO or other supply planning software (SAP preferred).
• Strong ability to work cross-functionally with Operations, Customer Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, and Finance.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Analytical and technical skills for automation opportunities.
• Energetic, flexible, collaborative team leader with challenge-ready mindset.
• Experience leading continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives.
• Proven mentoring and development of talent.
• Proficiency in Excel-based analytics.
• Experience in strategic sourcing.
• Willingness to travel ~15%.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a team of planners and improve coordination of materials procurement across the network.
• Own the supply plan for 20+ manufacturing locations and co-packers.
• Oversee PO to delivery, including order fulfillment, shipping, receiving andInventory management.
• Determine capacity and constraint information between operations and sales/marketing.
• Maintain accurate costing and setup data in SAP; act for Director when absent.
• Develop and implement inventory reduction and warehousing programs.
• Create and maintain supplier KPI database; drive cost-saving opportunities.
• Develop sourcing strategies to balance quality, service and cost.
