Pro Staff is actively seeking a Material Planning and Logistics Supervisor for a temporary assignment in Louisville, KY. The role leads an hourly team and ensures alignment of materials with production schedules, while maintaining safety and efficiency.

The ideal candidate has supervisory experience in manufacturing, strong problem-solving skills, and proficiency with MS Office tools. This position requires flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of supervisory experience in a manufacturing, material planning, logistics, warehouse, or supply chain environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Detail-oriented, dependable, and committed to achieving operational goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support an hourly production and logistics team.
• Coordinate material flow and workflow to meet production schedules.
• Monitor safety, quality, and productivity performance standards.
• Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and workplace safety requirements.
• Build strong working relationships with employees, union representatives, and leadership teams.
• Use Microsoft Office tools to track performance metrics, production data, and operational reports.
