Job summary

Nature's Bakery is seeking a Materials Planning Manager to ensure uninterrupted availability of raw materials and packaging to support manufacturing operations. You will balance inventory, freshness, and working capital while coordinating with Commercial, Planning, Production, and Logistics teams.

Responsibilities include managing replenishment, maintaining planning master data, and acting as the system owner for planning tools. Up to 20% travel and a focus on safety and quality are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of supply chain experience in a global or multi-plant consumer goods environment.
• Experience with forecasting, inventory management, and collaborative planning.

Responsibilities

• Ensure uninterrupted availability of Raw Materials and Packaging Materials to support factory operations while balancing inventory, freshness, warehouse capacity, and working capital objectives.
• Manage material replenishment, supplier coordination, and inbound material flow with Commercial, Supply Planning, Production Planning, Logistics, and partners to secure production continuity.
• Serve as the custodian of material planning parameters, inventory policies, and material master data, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and food safety standards.
• Manage inventory to meet service level targets while considering freshness, capacity, and working capital.
• Proactively follow up on delays, shortages, or quality issues and support recovery actions to minimize impact.
• Maintain accurate planning master data and system parameters to ensure planning reliability.
• Act as system owner for planning systems, contributing to correct usage and continuous improvement.
• Ensure material planning activities support traceability, compliance, and operational readiness.
• Identify and elevate risks related to safety, quality, or regulatory requirements.
• Participate in site initiatives to support overall factory performance.
