Job summary

Campbell Soup Company in Maxton, NC is seeking a Materials Planner to manage inventory and coordinate procurement for direct ingredients and packaging. You will release POs, maintain master data, monitor material availability, and support new item launches to keep production on track.

Responsibilities include handling runouts and transitions, coordinating interplant transfers, and collaborating with WHQ Buyers to optimize service levels and inventory. Strong SAP experience is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of Supply Chain, Planning, Procurement related experience.
• SAP experience.

Responsibilities

• Manages inventory and issues purchase orders for materials.
• Owns or is responsible for a purchasing group/MRP Controller.
• Maintains material-relevant master data (lead time, safety stock, lot size, etc.).
• Monitors material exceptions daily and supports new item launches.
• Manages item runouts as part of transitions and coordinates with suppliers.
• Create STO orders to ship materials to other locations and coordinate interplant transfers.
• Work with Local Material Representatives to track deliveries and respond to schedule changes.
• Collaborate with WHQ Buyers/Procurement to improve service and reduce inventory levels.
