Job summary

Qualifications

• Four to six years of relevant experience.
• Educational requirements may vary by geography.
• Additional courses after High School, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Associate Planners in releasing shop orders, checking parts, tracking builds, ensuring timely shipment and coordinating with manufacturing on issues.
• Maintain data integrity, ensure shop orders close, and customer commits are met.
• Perform materials requirements planning for lower value components.
• Ensure planning parameters are set correctly and MRP orders required parts.
• Manage smaller planning projects (e.g. Field Replacement Units) including customer interface and coordinating shipments.
• Include planning for test capacity, sort capacity and on-time delivery where applicable.
• Create/update customer order sets/reports, spreadsheets, and distribute reports to customers.
• Create part shorts reports for planners and initiate cycle counts to reset inventory records.
• Coordinate and schedule production lines according to customer requirements and interface with Manufacturing.
