Job summary

Celestica Inc. is seeking a Production Planning Administrator in the Richardson, TX area to support planning and shop floor activities. The role involves coordinating release of shop orders, tracking builds, ensuring timely shipment and maintaining data integrity to meet customer commitments.

The candidate will perform MRP for lower value components, set planning parameters, and interface with Manufacturing to ensure on-time delivery. Strong Excel and data-entry skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Assists the Associate Planners in releasing shop orders, checking for parts, tracking builds, ensuring timely shipment.
• Maintains data integrity, ensuring shop orders get closed, and ensuring customer commits are met.
• Performs materials requirements planning for lower value components.
• Ensures planning parameters are set correctly, and the MRP is ordering required parts.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and schedules production lines according to customer requirements, tracks efficiency, and interfaces with Manufacturing.
• Creates and updates various customer order sets and reports, spreadsheets, and sends reports to customers.
• Manages small planning projects (e.g., Field Replacement Units), including customer interface and shipments coordination.
• Supports planning for test and sort capacity and on-time delivery.
