Morgan Olson LLC, the leading walk-in van body manufacturer in North America, is seeking a Materials Planner to proactively plan production and nonproduction materials to ensure on-time delivery of finished products to customers.

The role also requires communicating shortages to production teams, managing POs (including kanban and min/max processes), expediting with suppliers, and supporting continuous improvement and safety policies across Morgan Olson’s PPS team.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration with a focus in supply chain, economics, or finance, or 4+ years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with JDE ERP system.
• APICS certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Proactively place purchase orders in accordance with supply and demand requirements as provided in the MRP/ERP system (JDE).
• Manage all purchase order needs up to resolving issues with suppliers and payments.
• Lead planning parameter changes to item records for effective materials planning.
• Place and manage discrete, blanket, kanban, and min/max purchase orders.
• Maintain supply through expediting and escalation to suppliers and Materials Manager.
• Provide direct timely communication to internal teams via phone, email or text; maintain status reports.
• Check and create SI’s for internal services products.
• Keep pricing records current.
• Support and participate in Morgan Olson PPS team efforts.
• Adhere to Quality policy and Safety practices; perform other duties as assigned.

Formação académica
