Job summary

Starbucks is seeking a Materials Planner to manage BOMs, supplier coordination, and inventory in our USA facility. The role emphasizes accurate planning, Oracle and Oasis usage, and alignment with safety and quality policies.

You will work within a cross-functional team to ensure right product availability, drive cost efficiencies, and enable on-time production and distribution to meet demand.

Qualifications

• Diploma/GED, 4+ years US military service or equivalent.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and Access.
• Familiarity with ERP systems or inventory modules (1 year).
• 1 year experience in production or supply chain.
• 3 years in design, scheduling or organizational functions.
• 3 years in supply chain, planning, marketing or logistics.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains BOM and material specifications in Oracle and Oasis.
• Creates delivery plans to support forecasting, cost, performance and capacity.
• Tracks shipments and manages inventory levels.
• Identifies opportunities to reduce costs and improve inventory turnover.
• Builds relationships with customers, vendors, and team partners to ensure alignment of strategy and plans.
• Ensures safety and quality standards are followed across operations.
• Participates in new product launches, testing, and supplier coordination.
• Manages material purchases and supports production scheduling to meet demand.
• Performs other duties as required to support Starbucks objectives.
