Job summary

Carrier is seeking a Materials Planner to ensure timely availability of materials for production at a Carrier manufacturing facility. You will manage requirements, replenishment, and inventory levels to support the production plan at Fort Worth.

You will place purchase orders, coordinate with suppliers, monitor safety stocks, analyze shortage risks, and maintain ERP parameters to optimize planning accuracy and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2+ years of materials planning experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and advanced Excel.
• APICS CPIM certification preferred.
• Experience coordinating with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and mitigate shortages.

Responsibilities

• Plans and manages material requirements for the production plan.
• Places and follows up on purchase and replenishment orders.
• Manages inventory levels, safety stocks, and reorder points.
• Coordinates with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
• Analyzes and mitigates shortage risks.
• Maintains planning parameters in the ERP.
