Materials Planner

Partner with the best

As a Materials Planner, you will plan and schedule material needs for Heavy Duty Gas Tech Services Modules according to production schedules. You will collaborate with Operations, Technical, and Engineering leaders to meet standards and organizational needs, provide planning support initiatives, develop operational plans, and suggest improvements in products, processes, and procedures.

Responsibilities include:
  • Establishing job induction plans based on resources and workload to meet Customer Want Date (CWD) and ensure stable operations.
  • Responding to planning queries, collecting, analyzing, and recording job progress data.
  • Analyzing process data to demonstrate capability and identify root causes for deviations, implementing corrective actions.
  • Working with the Forecasting & Planning (F&P) team to ensure projected volumes align with plans.
  • Conducting daily production meetings, sharing minutes, following up on actions, attending repair reviews, and updating on job status.
  • Updating ERP system with job order information and ensuring accurate reflection of job statuses among stakeholders.
  • Negotiating completion dates with internal and external customers.
  • Collaborating with engineering on spare part ordering and operations to optimize machinery utilization and stay within budget hours and cycle times.
  • Coordinating with material and operations teams to ensure timely availability of consumables and spares.
Qualifications:
  • Degree from an accredited university or college (or high school diploma / GED) with 3+ years of experience in materials planning in manufacturing.
  • Good interpersonal skills, inclusive working style, and ability to interface effectively across all organizational levels.
