The Materials Planner is responsible for planning and reviewing site demand activities, focusing on accuracy and system data integrity with the goal of supporting site build schedule requirements. The employee participates in tactical business decisions and operates as the liaison between central purchasing and site operations. The Materials Planner is accountable for accurate material demand in the ERP system and timely updates as needed. The incumbent will work closely with the central purchasing team and site operations team.
Work is typically performed in an office setting. The incumbent is regularly required to sit for extended periods of time, as well as talk and listen on the phone and in personal conversations or meetings. Environment is fast paced and demanding most of the time. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms while working in the office with various files and forms and while working on the computer. The employee is occasionally required to move about the office.
