Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking a Material Expeditor for a Columbus, OH contract-to-hire role, onsite. You will expedite POs, monitor deliveries, coordinate with suppliers, and maintain ERP/MRP data to minimize disruptions.

The position requires a 2+ year background in supply chain, a degree in a related field, proficiency with ERP/MRP systems, and strong organizational/communication skills. Mon-Fri schedule with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
• 2+ years in supply chain, logistics, purchasing, planning, or materials.
• Experience tracking purchase orders and coordinating shipments.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, Epicor and similar).
• Excel and basic data analysis skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Job Description

• Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Epicor, or similar.
• Proficiency with Excel and basic data analysis.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, procurement, or project-based environments.
• Familiarity with supplier scorecards, OTD metrics, and inventory replenishment.
• Experience supporting process improvement initiatives.

Work Environment

This role operates in a corporate office environment at a downtown headquarters location. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The environment is highly collaborative, with frequent interaction with buyers, planners, materials teams, project managers, suppliers, carriers, and other stakeholders. The opportunity is structured as a long-term engagement and includes paid holidays.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.53/hr.
