Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company is seeking a Material Handler in Grenada, MS to load, unload, and move materials within the plant and stock areas. You will use a forklift, hand-truck, and other equipment to move coils and parts to production and storage locations.

The role requires a Commercial Driver License, ability to operate a forklift and scan gun, and readiness for staggered hours and overtime. You must be comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and working with production teams.

Qualifications

• Must have Commercial Driver License.
• The ability to use a forklift, computer and scan gun.
• Position requires staggered hours when required and any required overtime.
• Requires lifting and pushing up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Movement of materials to or from storage or work sites to designated area, using hand-truck, electric dolly, fork lift, electric tugger, or other device.
• Responsibilities include picking up coils from the end of the production lines, delivery of parts as needed to production, delivery of parts to fin press, upend fin sock and help in other area as needed.
• Position requires ability to make mathematic calculations.
• Applicant must work well with Production and other Stockroom personnel.
• Applicant must be willing to learn all stockroom functions.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.
