Job summary

Miller Industries is seeking a Materials/Manufacturing Supervisor for our Hazel Park, Michigan facility to bridge Supply Chain and Operations and lead manufacturing on the floor. The role ensures material availability, coordinates with Purchasing, and guides daily production with a hands-on leadership approach.

Candidates should have supervisory experience, knowledge of ERP/MRP, and a track record in lean practices, inventory control, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in production, materials, warehouse, or supply chain.
• Previous supervisory/leadership experience.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and production flow.
• Ability to read production schedules and prioritize work.
• Strong communication with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Basic computer skills and ERP/MRP proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production to meet safety, quality, productivity, and delivery goals.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain and departments to resolve issues.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and material flow.
• Provide coaching and development for team members.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Report production status and risks to leadership.
