Job summary

Fluence is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Coordinator to support our Operations team in Shanghai. You will own operational activities for contract manufacturers, coordinating material transfers, inventories, and reporting to ensure smooth production flow.

The role demands accuracy, proactive problem solving, and strong collaboration across CM and logistics to uphold Fluence's standards in a fast-paced, growing environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in operations or supply chain.
• Experience with contract manufacturers.
• Knowledge of supply chain processes.
• Experience with SAP or NetSuite.
• Strong communication and data accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Hands-on, proactive, and results-driven.
• Detail-oriented with issue-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Process consigned material POs from contract manufacturers and update quantities.
• Coordinate transfer of consigned materials from the 3PL for on-time delivery.
• Review weekly shortage lists and assist with delivery and material flow.
• Monitor inventory levels at CM and external warehouses.
• Track CM production/shipping against plans and report daily actuals.
• Ensure CMMS reports, inbound serials, container lists, and POD are uploaded.
• Facilitate return of nonconforming material and support insurance claims.
