Job description

SprintRay is advancing digital dentistry through innovation and precision. As we expand globally, we are seeking a Materials Manufacturing Manager to lead end-to-end resin manufacturing operations at our Los Angeles facility. This senior-level role owns the strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of our resin production systems, ensuring performance in quality, cost, safety, and scalability.

This is a highly visible position with cross-functional collaboration across R&D, Process Engineering, Regulatory, and Quality teams. The ideal candidate is an experienced technical leader in regulated manufacturing who can manage operations while building systems for long-term growth.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Own and lead resin production operations, from planning through delivery
  • Hire, train, and develop a high-performing production team
  • Oversee resource planning, raw material forecasting, staffing, and cost controls to meet output targets
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain on production scheduling to align with global demand
  • Build scalable systems and workflows that support multi-region expansion
  • Implement and enforce GMP-compliant practices and ensure audit readiness (ISO 13485, MDSAP, ISO 9001)
  • Develop KPIs and manage team performance to meet safety, quality, and efficiency goals
  • Drive continuous improvement, LEAN manufacturing, and 5S principles
  • Partner with R&D and Engineering teams to scale new materials and formulations
  • Maintain all required batch records, documentation, and reporting systems
  • Serve as the operational point of contact for all resin production programs

Qualifications

  • BS in Chemical, Materials, Biomedical, or Industrial Engineering; MS preferred
  • 5+ years of direct experience in chemical or regulated production environments (3+ with MS)
  • Proven leadership of production teams, with strong focus on results and accountability
  • Deep understanding of GMP, safety, quality systems, and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics, ODOO preferred)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and Google Workspace
  • Strong financial acumen in forecasting, cost tracking, and resource optimization
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Experience scaling production in a growth-stage or global organization is a plus

Target Salary Range: $100,000 - $122,000

Actual compensation packages are determined based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate, including geographic location, skill set, relevant education and certifications, depth of experience, and performance, as well as current business and organizational needs. The estimated range provided may not reflect the final offer, which is tailored to the individual. In addition to base salary, total compensation may include an annual performance bonus, comprehensive medical/dental/vision benefits, and other forms of compensation, where applicable.
