Job summary

Breeze-Eastern is a global leader in designing and manufacturing high-performance lifting and pulling devices for military and civilian aircraft, including rescue hoists and winches. We seek a Materials Manager to ensure on-time deliveries while optimizing inventory and resources.

You will partner with Operations, Purchasing, Contracts, and Supply Chain teams to develop production plans that align with business objectives and drive operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of production planning experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing product planning from design through procurement, fabrication, assembly, testing, packaging, and shipment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage production plans to meet delivery commitments and inventory targets.
• Analyze requirements and optimize MRP parameters to align planned orders with demand.
• Create production schedules maximizing resource utilization and turnover.
• Release and schedule lower-level assemblies to support upper-level needs.
• Review MRP recommendations, including rescheduling, expediting, and deferring orders.
• Adjust production plans in response to demand changes and priorities.
• Coordinate with Purchasing and Supply Chain to ensure material availability.
• Monitor WIP to ensure production orders stay on schedule.
• Collaborate with Operations and Sales to develop monthly forecasts.
• Support inventory accuracy via cycle counts and controls.
• Resolve material shortages and production constraints.
• Verify routings, drawings, and product structures as needed for planning.

Are you a detail-oriented supply chain professional who thrives on balancing customer demand, inventory management, and production efficiency? We are seeking an experienced Materials Manager to play a key role in ensuring on-time customer deliveries while optimizing inventory levels and manufacturing resources.

In this role, you will work closely with Operations, Purchasing, Contracts, and Supply Chain teams to develop and execute production plans that support business objectives and drive operational excellence.

What You'll Do

• Develop and manage production plans to meet customer delivery commitments and inventory objectives.

• Collaborate with Operations and Sales to develop monthly production forecasts.
• Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts and inventory control initiatives.
• Help resolve material shortages, inventory issues, and production constraints.
• Verify routings, drawings, and product structures as needed to support effective planning.

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of production planning experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing product planning from design through procurement, fabrication, assembly, testing, packaging, and shipment.
• Strong understanding of Bills of Material (BOMs) and material planning processes.
• Experience working with a fully integrated ERP system.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
