Requirements

Role: Direct and supervise stockroom personnel, overseeing planning, storage, control, and distribution of materials according to company and customer needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Manage stockroom personnel in the manufacturing department.
  2. Ensure the team has necessary tools, resources, and skills.
  3. Direct inventory control, shipping, receiving, and storage.
  4. Oversee production planning and scheduling based on sales forecasts.
  5. Maintain inventory levels to meet customer timelines.
  6. Ensure accuracy of the perpetual inventory system.
  7. Coordinate with purchasing for delivery schedules.
  8. Identify opportunities to reduce transportation costs.
  9. Manage storage of parts and finished goods.
  10. Perform write-offs for damaged or obsolete inventory.
  11. Establish procedures for physical inventory counts.
  12. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred; equivalent experience acceptable.

Experience

At least 2 years of related experience or training; or equivalent.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Mathematical Skills: Basic math, including percentages, proportions, and algebra.

Physical Demands

Standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 60 pounds, and working with chemicals may be required.
