Job summary

RTX is seeking an Associate Director, Landing Systems Materials Management to standardize policies, processes, tools, and metrics across Landing Systems. You will lead a best-in-class SIOP process to improve customer satisfaction, inventory turns, and working capital, partnering with a global network to align upstream and downstream activities.

Travel 20% and direct cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 12 years' experience or an Advanced Degree with 10+ years.
• 5+ years’ experience utilizing planning software packages (Kinaxis Rapid Response, SAP IBP, APO, Servigistics).
• Structured methodology to identify root causes in processes.
• Experience in aerospace supply chain and cross-functional change.

Responsibilities

• Standardize Materials Management policies, processes, tools and metrics across Landing Systems.
• Drive load and capacity planning for labor and machine resources.
• Lead cross-functional change and build capability for transitions.
• Develop supply plan scenarios to meet unconstrained demand and financial goals.
• Escalate production plan issues and manage recovery and communication.
• Support large-scale MRP migrations as SME.
• Collaborate with Finance to assess capital and working capital impacts.
• Present plans, risks and mitigations to leadership.
