This is a high‑impact leadership role where you’ll own the end‑to‑end materials strategy, influence cross‑functional decisions, and play a key role in enabling operational excellence and customer success.

A Day In The Life
  • Lead and develop a high‑performing team of planners and buyers, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Serve as the primary owner of materials management strategy for Ripley Tools
  • Drive optimization across all materials functions, including:
    • Production planning & scheduling
    • Procurement & supplier performance
    • Inventory management & control
    • Warehousing and material flow
  • Champion and support SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning) processes to ensure alignment across the business and seamless product delivery
  • Partner across functions—Engineering, Marketing, Quality, Finance, and Operations—to support strategic business goals
  • Identify gaps and implement data‑driven countermeasures to improve underperforming processes and suppliers
  • Lead efforts to strengthen Lean Six Sigma initiatives, reducing waste and improving efficiency throughout the operation
  • Build and execute sourcing and planning strategies that simplify complexity and improve scalability

What will help you thrive in this role?
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
  • Proven experience in materials management, operations, or supply chain leadership within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP systems (SAP experience preferred)
  • A track record of leading teams and driving performance improvements
  • Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies
  • Ability to influence, collaborate, and drive alignment across diverse teams
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into action
