Overview

Westminster Surgery Center is seeking a full-time Materials Manager. The Materials Manager is responsible for the procurement of all supplies in the hospital with the exception of food and drugs. Responsibilities include ordering and receiving supplies, stocking supplies, and assisting Accounts Payable with invoice packets. The position requires high motivation and energy, as approximately 90% of the role involves physical activity.

Responsibilities

• Procure all hospital supplies (excluding food and drugs).
• Order, receive, and stock supplies.
• Assist Accounts Payable with invoice packets.
• Maintain accurate inventory and ensure timely replenishment.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Two years minimum receiving and inventory experience in a health care environment preferred.
• Strong customer service background.
• Strong math and counting skills required.
• Typing speed of 40 wpm preferred.
• Computer experience required (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word and Excel preferred).
• Able to deal tactfully with the public and other staff members.
• Ability to prioritize responsibilities and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks and lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, squat, and lift heavy items above head and shoulders.
• Ability to work in a clean and sterile environment.

Pay range: Min: $31.93 to Max: $39.11
