Summary
Coordinate the receipt, restocking, and inventory verification of internal material requirements to ensure timely and accurate delivery to production lines. Oversee inventory optimization, including the management of excess and obsolete materials, cycle counting programs, receiving and transfer dock operations, and maintaining appropriate safety stock levels. Maintain detailed records and enforce cost-control procedures, with a strong focus on loss prevention through continuous monitoring, analysis, and reporting. Lead, coach, and develop the team responsible for material flow and inventory processes, while managing labor efficiencies, direct labor hours, and overtime (OT%) to meet operational and financial targets. Manage and optimize material replenishment systems, including Kanban, min-max, vendor managed inventory (VMI), discrete ordering, and consignment programs. Ensure consistent on-time, line-side delivery of materials to support uninterrupted production and operational efficiency. Oversee and manage timed delivery routes to improve flow, accuracy, and responsiveness. Drive initiatives to reduce transportation waste, streamline material movement, and lower overall handling costs. Continuously identify and implement inventory reduction strategies and process improvements to enhance efficiency, improve inventory turns, and support overall operational performance.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in Industrial/Operations management; Associate degree and 2 years related experience; High School Diploma or equivalent with 4 + years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.
Reasoning Ability Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
