Job summary

DSJ Global is seeking a Materials Manager to provide strategic leadership for a key manufacturing function in a high-performance plant. You will lead managers and staff to drive continuous improvement in manufacturing and supply chain processes, ensuring optimal inventory, service levels and cost objectives.

Responsibilities include planning, forecasting, replenishment, and coordinating purchasing, scheduling, warehouse activities and customer service to meet demand and maintain smooth

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• 7-10 years of functional/leadership experience
• Strong leadership experience with demonstrated success in managing multiple projects and people

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Management team to plan, forecast and replenish products for customers
• Balance inventory, service and cost objectives, drive collaborative supply chain improvements and support Customer Service
• Responsible for all replenishment activities and working with internal and external departments to meet customer demand
• Direct and administer the following: purchasing, production scheduling and control, inventory and warehouse stock control, warehousing sales order entry, customer service, traffic and shipping
• Manage Production Planning and Scheduling to ensure the smoothest production curve, while maintaining a high customer service level

This person will be responsible for providing strategic leadership for a function within a high performance plant/facility. This person will have overall accountability for the performance of the function and the impact on the larger operating unit as well as lead team managers and/or staff to achieve exceptional business results through the development of people and continuous improvement of manufacturing and supply chain processes.
