Job summary

EmployBridge is seeking a Materials Manager to own the materials function in the Greater Milwaukee area. You will lead inventory, production planning, warehousing, shipping/receiving, and logistics, directly influencing production performance and customer delivery.

This is a strategic, hands-on leadership role with a focus on continuous improvement. The position requires strong collaboration with Operations, Production, Engineering, and Quality teams, and a track record of driving inventory

Qualifications

• Experience leading materials, supply chain, production planning, inventory, or logistics in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of inventory control and ERP/MRP systems in production environments.
• Hands-on leadership on the floor with cross-functional collaboration.

• Proven ability to balance strategic planning with day-to-day operational execution.
• Hands-on leadership style with a willingness to be visible on the floor and engaged with the team.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Experience

• Die casting, metal manufacturing, machining, foundry, or other high-volume manufacturing environments.
• Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• APICS/CPIM, CSCP, or similar certifications.
