Midway Products Group Inc. is seeking an experienced Materials / Inventory Control leader to oversee the movement of materials in and out of the plant. You will supervise purchasing, production scheduling, warehousing, and customer service to ensure timely delivery.
The role emphasizes planning, process improvement, and adherence to standard procedures, with responsibilities ranging from forecasting collaboration to capital purchases and continuous improvement initiatives.
Under general supervision of the Plant Manager, is responsible for the overall control and movement of materials in and out of the plant. Directs and administers purchasing, production scheduling, inventory control, warehousing sales order entry, customer service, traffic and shipping.
Prefer bachelor's degree in business or operations and at least 8 years' experience, preferably with an automotive supplier.
Ability to understand and execute contracts relating to materials purchases and deliveries.
Physical requirements include regularly spending time on the manufacturing plant floor, with prolonged standing, walking and exposure to typical production environments (noise, PPE use and occasional lifting).
Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well.

High School / GED or better.
