Job summary

Nestlé Atlanta factory is seeking a seasoned Materials Manager to lead planning, inventory, and supplier management ensuring uninterrupted production of pet food brands. You will optimize material availability, drive cost efficiency, and mentor a team in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities include coordinating with procurement, monitoring supplier performance, negotiating agreements, and leveraging ERP systems to streamline planning and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• 3+ years of materials management, supply chain, inventory control, production planning, procurement, logistics, or warehouse operations experience within a manufacturing, distribution, military, or related environment.
• 2+ years of leadership experience.

• Utilize ERP and inventory management systems to support planning, purchasing, and reporting activities.

Position Summary

As Materials Manager you’ll lead the planning, inventory, and supplier management activities that ensure uninterrupted production at our manufacturing facility. You’ll maintain material availability, manage supplier relationships, optimize inventory levels, and lead a team that supports the flow of raw materials into the plant.

To support our around-the-clock manufacturing environment, candidates should be comfortable working outside of normal business hours on occasion to address operational priorities and support the factory team

• 2+ years of leadership experience

The approximate yearly pay range for this position is $95,000 - $133,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
