Job summary

MB Companies, an Aebi Schmidt brand located in Chilton, WI, is seeking an operations leader responsible for directing production, inventory control, shipping and receiving, and materials management to ensure accurate, on-time deliveries.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least five years in materials control plus a minimum of three years in supervision, with a focus on cost containment and continuous process improvement within a warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field is required.
• Five years of experience in materials control field is required.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Directs production and inventory control, shipping and receiving, and materials storage.
• Manages warehouse, shipping and receiving departments and processes.
• Responsible for freight costs and minimized premium freight.
• Responsible for metrics reporting, attainment (on time delivery, cycle count accuracy, inventory turnover).
• Responsible for Inventory Accuracy and the Cycle Count Program and Projects.
• Directs production planning and scheduling based on sales forecasts.
• Maintains inventory levels to ensure deliveries occur within customer timelines.
• Maintains and ensures the accuracy of the perpetual inventory system.
• Works with the purchasing department to schedule delivery of materials, supplies, and equipment.
• Oversees shipping and receiving functions related to purchased parts and finished goods.
• Identifies opportunities to reduce transportation costs and charges.
• Manages and monitors storage of purchased parts and finished goods.
• Performs write-offs on damaged or obsolete inventory to reflect the accurate value of inventory.
• Establishes procedures and is responsible for conducting and valuing year-end physical inventory.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
