Ready to lead where materials strategy directly impacts customers, operations, and results? As Materials Manager, you will lead an experienced team of Buyer-Planners responsible for purchasing, materials planning, inventory, supplier performance, and aftermarket kit readiness within a complex manufacturing operation. Your leadership will help ensure the right materials are in the right place at the right time—supporting both legacy and next-generation compressor products. This is more than a scheduling role. You will be the go-to leader when materials issues get difficult—supplier delays, held orders, inventory concerns, source changes, planning gaps, or cross-functional breakdowns. You will dig into root causes, drive solutions, build sustainable processes, and empower your team to prevent issues from recurring. You will also own key materials priorities including inventory performance, on-time delivery, supplier past dues, labor productivity, and continuous improvement, while partnering across Sourcing, Quality, Engineering, Operations, Order Management, and Customer Service. With an Oracle-to-SAP transition ahead, you will have a meaningful opportunity to shape processes, strengthen performance, and lead the team through significant operational change. The ideal candidate brings a strong combination of people leadership and hands‑on materials expertise. You know how to develop talent, establish accountability, and set clear priorities—but you are equally comfortable stepping into the details when the business needs you. Most importantly, you can demonstrate where you have solved complex materials problems, identified root causes, implemented lasting improvements, and measured the results. You bring the technical credibility, analytical mindset, and leadership presence to bring clarity to complexity and turn challenges into sustainable operational improvement.
