Job summary

Adams Thermal Systems, Inc. in Canton, SD is seeking a Materials Manager to lead material planning, strategic sourcing, and broad supply chain activities aimed at world-class performance and cost reduction.

Responsibilities include aligning production with just-in-time material flow, coordinating supplier development, and managing vendor qualifications. A bachelor's degree and automotive industry experience are required; ERP proficiency and program management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree.
• Technical degree preferred or BBA with technical work experience within the automotive industry.
• Demonstrated experience within the OEM automotive manufacturing environment desired.
• Extensive experience in material planning / ERP software.
• Program management skills and experience.
• Experience with supplier continuous improvement development and implementation programs.

Scope

The Materials Manager will lead company material planning, strategic sourcing, and supply chain management activities. This position is key to achieving world class operating performance. Continually improves quality, delivery and total cost of products and services to assure the continued success of ATS in the market place.
