Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Materials Tech III to ensure efficient flow and sanitation of medical supplies and equipment at Northridge Hospital Medical Center. You will disinfect equipment, receive and issue supplies, and perform routine inventory tasks in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The role emphasizes meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with inventory systems to maintain a sterile, efficient environment aligned with department procedures.

Qualifications

• High School GED required.
• Two years or more of experience with large ERP systems.
• Six to twelve months of inventory management experience in a medical setting.
• Fire Safety training within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Disinfects equipment and carts per department policy.
• Receives, stores, issues, and delivers supplies; prepares items for shipping.
• Performs daily par-level counts; data entry for issued stock.
• Maintains tidy work areas and participates in inventory/cycle counting.
• Documents receipts in the Materials Management Information System.
• Sorts and delivers inter-office mail and packages; provides courier services as needed.
