Job summary

Citizens Medical Center is seeking a Materials Management Tech for evenings with rotating call. You will maintain accurate inventory, receive shipments, pull cases, and restock daily while participating in rotating on-call duties.

Knowledge of the EF inventory system and strong attention to par levels is essential. Responsibilities include coordinating with OR staff to provide instruments, performing physical inventories, and ensuring proper documentation of receipts and packs.

Qualifications

• Two years experience in inventory control/distribution with computerized systems.
• Ability to receive shipments and verify item numbers, descriptions and quantities.
• Comfort with rotating on-call schedule and daily restocking duties.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular counts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an accurate inventory through receiving protocols.
• Receive inventory, pull cases, take rotating call, restock daily.
• Rotate stock and check item outdates to preserve accuracy.
• Replenish OR inventory stock daily and manage par levels.
• Verify shipments and process receiving transactions.
• Resolve shortages, over shipments and damaged items.
• Maintain files: packing slips, freight bills, delivery documents, pick tickets.
• Communicate with OR personnel to provide required instruments and supplies.
