Job summary

SpaceXSI in Memphis, TN is seeking a Sr. Manager of Materials Management to lead the fulfillment, distribution, and storage strategy for the world’s largest data center materials ecosystem.

You will guide continuous improvement, manage a multi-shift team, and drive safety, quality, and customer service excellence. The role requires an advanced degree or a bachelor’s in a relevant field with broad experience in materials planning, purchasing, distribution or operations.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree with 4+ years in material/production planning, purchasing, distribution, operations, material cost control, or master scheduling.
• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years in the same areas, or 10+ years of related experience.
• APICS CPIM/CSCP preferred for deeper process expertise.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain targets for fulfillment, distribution, and storage centers.
• Develop strategy, metrics, and goals to guide the organization’s direction.
• Manage a multi-level team across 4 shift patterns to support 24/7 operations; assess performance and address issues.
• Lead by example, solicit feedback, and motivate teams to achieve top results.
• Monitor operations for safety with the goal of zero OSHA recordables annually.
• Ensure quality and compliance with AS9100 and customer requirements.
