Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital in Valencia, CA is seeking a Materials Management Coordinator to support the materials manager with central distribution, Kanban replenishment, and template/bin label maintenance. You will help ensure cost-effective product procurement while safeguarding patient care and serving as back-up to the Inventory Coordinator.

• The Materials Management Coordinator supports the materials manager with supply chain operations, including central distribution, storekeepers, and maintaining supply replenishment systems (Kanban).
• Builds and maintains templates and bin labels; ensures quality and safe patient care in procuring products cost-effectively; serves as back-up to Inventory Coordinator.

Job Summary:

The Materials Management Coordinator supports materials manager with supply chain operations to include central distribution, storekeepers, building and maintaining supply replenishment systems (Kanban’s), building and maintaining templates and bin labels. Ensures quality and safe patient care in managing/procuring products in a cost effective manner. Serves as back up to Inventory Coordinator.

• Preferred completion of college course(s) in Accounting, Logistics, Information Systems Development, Data Analytics, and/or Supply Chain Management

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years ofhospital experience insupply chain/materials management
