Job summary

Talen Energy in Berwick, ME is seeking a logistics/materials handler to support warehouse operations, including picking, packing, staging, and shipping tools and materials. Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent is required.
• Must be able to obtain valid and appropriate operator’s license and operate material handling equipment (forklift, carts, van).
• Ability to obtain and maintain access requirements for SSES and fitness for duty screening.
• Adequate physical ability to perform manual work.

Responsibilities

• Picks, packs, stages, issues, returns, delivers and ships tools and materials.
• Performs inventory transactions including cycle counting.
• Receives, inspects, and stores tools and materials; forwards samples to laboratory when needed.
• Operates forklift and other material handling equipment.
• Loads and unloads vehicles and signs for material as required.
