Talen Energy in Berwick, PA is seeking a Logistics/Inventory Associate to join our operations team. This role focuses on accurate inventory control, tool handling, shipping, receiving and basic rigging.

Responsibilities include forklift operation, cycle counting, loading/unloading, and using RF handheld devices to track materials. A valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a CDL Class B with tanker and hazmat endorsements within 90 days are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Able to obtain CDL Class B with tanker and hazmat endorsements within 90 days.
• Successful completion of Logistics Aptitude Test.
• Successful completion of Data Entry Test.
• Able to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Ability to pass fitness for duty screening.
• Able to perform manual labor and lift heavy items.

Responsibilities

• Picks, packs, stag es, issues, returns, delivers and ships tools and materials per procedures.
• Performs inventory transactions including cycle counts.
• Receives, inspects, returns and stores tools and materials; forwards samples to laboratory when required.
• Prepares and stages material for scrap or salvage.
• Creates catalog identification tags for parts and materials.
• Uses RF handheld devices, computers and warehousing devices as needed.
• Operates common hand and power tools and forklifts.
• Loads and unloads vehicles and signs for material as required.
