Job summary

Base is seeking a Materials Associate in Austin to manage shipping, receiving, and inventory while maintaining safe, organized warehouse operations. You will verify paperwork with ERP, prepare bills of lading, and coordinate with production teams to meet schedules.

The role requires 2+ years in warehouse or manufacturing settings, ability to lift 50–70 lbs, and valid driver’s license. You will handle forklifts and pallet jacks, perform end-of-day inventories, and participate in team meetings

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years in shipping, receiving, or manufacturing.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Experience in warehouse operations or logistics preferred.
• Ability to lift 50–70 lbs.
• Able to operate forklifts and electric pallet jacks safely.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Comfort with physically demanding, manual labor for long shifts (up to 12 hours).

Responsibilities

• Package and wrap products securely for shipment.
• Verify paperwork using ERP for correct quantities.
• Generate bills of lading and maintain shipping records.
• Monitor conveyor lines and load products into trailers.
• Inspect products for quality and packaging compliance.
• Perform inbound receiving inspections and inventory recording.
• Conduct stock checks and participate in end-of-month inventory.
• Load/unload trailers, clean work areas.
• Assist in assembly or production as needed.
• Make local deliveries using company vehicles.
• Participate in daily production meetings.
