Qualifications

• Four years of experience in the practice of civil engineering.

Responsibilities

• Directly and indirectly manage technicians performing materials testing for acceptance.
• Review material test results and provide recommendations; advise on geotechnical engineering.
• Maintain certifications of testing staff and equipment.
• Manage consultants in charge of materials testing for the City of Phoenix.
• Oversee development and execution of material testing plans for CIP and private development.
• Write technical correspondence to vendors, contractors, and city staff.
• Coordinate with consultants and project managers to ensure pavement design compliance.
