Job summary

HEXPOL Compounding Americas in Wisconsin is seeking a Material Handler to supply the correct materials to production lines, stage and transfer materials, and maintain accurate inventory records. You will verify raw materials, label skids, count inventory, and comply with safety rules.

Responsibilities include documenting material handling, reporting shortages, and supporting the supervisor with substitutions while maintaining a clean, organized work area. This is a full-time on-site position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; competency assessment may be considered.
• Experience in manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred.
• Ability to operate forklift and reach trucks.
• Basic math and measurement reading skills.
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel/Word/Outlook) and good written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Review schedule to determine types and amounts of materials needed for production lines.
• Transfer and stage materials to appropriate mixer staging area.
• Stock carbon black bags by lot and material codes.
• Label material skids and record required information.
• Notify supervisor of shortages or substitutions; report damaged materials.
• Inspect materials for contamination and labeling accuracy; follow safety rules.
• Maintain inventory counts and assist supervisor with storage reconciliation.
• Adhere to Lock-out/Tag-out procedures during equipment downtime.
• Keep workstation clean and organized; assist with training new associates.
