Kloeckner Metals is seeking a Warehouseman to manage movement and handling of materials within the plant site in Washington, DC. You will operate overhead cranes and forklifts, maintain inventory accuracy, and support production lines to minimize downtime.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and offers opportunities to work with computer systems for tagging, shipping, and receiving materials. A reliable work history and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 months of related experience or training preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic arithmetic operations with whole numbers and usage of US customary units for weight, volume, and distance.

Responsibilities

• Operates overhead cranes and forklifts to load and unload materials.
• Receives incoming inventory, ensuring proper tagging and documentation.
• Maintains production line equipment with necessary raw materials to minimize downtime.
• Uses computer systems to tag, ship, and receive materials.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
