Job summary

Kloeckner Metals Corporation is seeking a Warehouseman to support material movement and provide reliable production flow at our Olympia plant. You will operate overhead cranes and forklifts, manage inventory, and assist with production line materials to minimize downtime.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, be able to pass required physicals, and demonstrate reliability and attention to detail in inspections.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; 1–3 months of related experience or training preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Basic arithmetic operations with whole numbers and use of US money units for weight, volume and distance
• Ability to pass a physical examination for vision, hearing and mobility
• Demonstrated reliable work history
• Detail-oriented with a focus on precision and quality in inspections

Responsibilities

• Operates overhead cranes and forklifts to load and unload materials
• Receives incoming inventory, ensuring proper tagging and documentation
• Maintains production line equipment with necessary raw materials to minimize downtime
• Utilizes computer systems to tag, ship, and receive materials
• Performs other tasks as assigned by the supervisor
