Job summary

Allient Inc. in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Materials Handler to manage flow of materials and products in manufacturing areas, ensuring accurate recording of movement and timely delivery to production.

You will identify, label, stock materials, verify orders against requisitions, and generate procurement requests while adapting to a stockroom/production floor environment. HS diploma and up to 2 years' experience preferred; safety gear and physical duties included.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 0 to 2 years of relevant experience.
• Skills of organization and attention to detail preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory
• Compares information on requisitions, invoices, and shipping notices to material received or issued to verify accuracy of order.
• Generates requests for procurement of material.
• Inspects, accepts, or rejects material received when needed.
• Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
• Maintains in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies.
