Job summary

Coherent Corp. is seeking an Inventory Support Associate to manage materials movement, cycle counts, receiving and shipping within a multi-department, clean-room oriented facility.

You will enter data, run reconciliations, support Kanban setup and back-up Receiving/FGI teams while maintaining ISO and EHS standards. Applicants should have 2+ years in manufacturing, proficiency with MS Office and ERP/MRP systems, plus strong organization and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of work experience in a manufacturing setting including inventory control, shipping and receiving.
• Detail-oriented, methodical approach to tasks with strong organizational skills and ability to work with minimal supervision while seeking supervisory approval on non-routine tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills; team-oriented and able to work in cross-functional environments.

Responsibilities

• Support inventories across multiple manufacturing departments, including glass movement and inventory transactions.
• Manage in-process products including receiving, simple calculations and prep/transportation before and after external operations.
• Deliver materials to department stock shelves and move product in-process to other inventory locations.
• Handle requisitions to/from outside processes (third-party processing), including packaging and shipping orders.
• Enter data into databases and generate lot numbers during Receiving and related activities.
• Scrap products no longer needed and support movement of goods through Test and Finished Goods Inventory.
• Provide back-up and support for Receiving and FGI teams; assist with site-wide Kanban setup and weekly cycle counts of MRO inventory.
• Perform Oracle and Cumulus transactions for all above items.
