Job summary

The Materials intern will work directly with the supply chain planning and purchasing teams at all levels within Oatey’s organizational structure. The position is designed to support demand and supply planning, inventory distribution and supply chain KPI analysis.

While working in this role the individual will be expected to communicate effectively in person, through email and over the phone and will interact with plants, distribution centers, logistics partners, suppliers and other internal

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills.
• High competency with the Microsoft Office suite of products.
• Good communication skills.
• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with the supply chain planning and purchasing teams to support demand, inventory, and KPI analysis.
• Communicate effectively with plants, distribution centers, logistics partners and suppliers.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as data collection and reporting related to inventory and performance.
