Job summary

Defense Logistics Agency is seeking a Warehouse Specialist to receive, inspect, and disposition a wide variety of materials at Davis Monthan AFB in Arizona. You will determine condition, ensure proper documentation, and apply demilitarization and handling instructions while operating forklifts and managing storage.

Applicants must be a U.S. citizen, able to obtain required security clearances, and meet safety and pre-employment requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience handling a variety of property and ensuring accurate documentation.
• Ability to determine condition, classification, and handling requirements for warehousing.

Responsibilities

• Receives, examines and determines the condition of materials.
• Reviews disposal turn-in documents and verifies data against property.
• Visually inspects usable property for condition and acceptability.
• Determines handling requirements and assigns classification instructions for warehousing.
• Verifies demilitarization codes and maintains segregated storage for DEMIL items.
• Ensures proper certification is attached to turn-in documents.
• Performs periodic inventory and re-palletizes property as needed.
• Operates forklifts and material handling equipment to move, load, and stack pallets.
