Qualifications

• Minimum of three years in material handling, yard operations, warehouse operations, manufacturing, or heavy equipment transportation.
• Previous lead or supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience handling large equipment, fabricated assemblies, or industrial products in a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of safe rigging, lifting, loading, unloading, and material handling practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily yard material handling activities supporting Packaging, Ship Loose, and Electrical Yard operations.
• Assign daily responsibilities to Material Handlers and Heavy Haul personnel based on priorities.
• Coordinate movement of enclosures, fuel tanks, skid frames, generators, switchgear, platforms, and other large assemblies.
• Lead and supervise the Heavy Haul team in safe movement of large materials and equipment.
• Verify that personnel, equipment, rigging, and work areas are prepared before any movement.
• Ensure lifting and material handling activities comply with procedures and capacities.
