Overview

Materials Handling Supervisor (full-time, exempt) — Schedule includes some weekends and evenings. Salary: $59,273 to $74,092 for new hires in this position. Offers are made within this range based on competencies, experience, and internal equity.

Do you thrive when coaching people and helping processes run smoothly? Our Access Services department is looking for a Full-Time Materials Handling Supervisor to lead the two dozen staff members who keep our collections moving by sorting and shelving more than one million items a year. In this role youll hire, train, and coach staff; oversee schedules; refine and develop workflows; and closely collaborate with other supervisors and colleagues in supporting the communitys access to knowledge and discovery. Were seeking someone whos comfortable leading large teams and exercising strong independent judgment in balancing people management with operational oversight, ensuring that staff are supported and services run efficiently.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Associates degree or some college
